Liz Elsby

LIZ ELSBY

Born in New York City and raised in Houston, Liz Elsby made aliyah in 1984. She has worked at Yad Vashem since 2006 as a museum tour guide, Holocaust educator, lecturer and content writer for Yad Vashem’s website and social media. She guides educational groups in Poland, Prague, Terezin and Berlin. She is also an Echoes and Reflections facilitator, teaching American educators how to teach the Holocaust effectively to their students.

Elsby has a particular interest in Holocaust art, with an emphasis on Terezin. She is a Bezalel Academy of Art and Design graduate and a working illustrator and graphic designer, often incorporating Holocaust themes into her artwork.
