Field Trips & Group Tours
Groups of 10 or more individuals or classes wishing to visit the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach must make a reservation no less than two weeks before their planned visit.
Group reservations are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, and a confirmation email will be sent once a reservation is made.
Information for School Field Trips
- Free of charge: There is no cost to visit the Holocaust Memorial.
- Transportation support available: While schools are responsible for arranging their own buses, we are able to help cover the cost of transportation. For more information, please contact us at info@holocaustmemorialmiamibeach.org.

- Aligned with Florida standards: All tours support the State of Florida’s Holocaust education requirements.
Preparing for Your Trip
- Educator resources: To help you and your students prepare, please explore our educator resources here.
- Pre-visit film (Strongly Recommended): We encourage all visiting groups to watch Survivor, our powerful short film featuring local Holocaust survivors. The film is available in both 30-minute and 18-minute versions and provides essential context for your visit.
- Dress appropriately: The Holocaust Memorial is an outdoor space. We recommend students bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and bottled water.
- Timeliness and cancellations: If you are running late or need to cancel, please call us at 305.538.1663. While we understand that unexpected situations may arise, we would greatly appreciate at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your field trip.
- Restroom break: Allow students time to use the restroom and get water before beginning the tour.
- Lunch accommodations: Student lunches may be stored inside the Holocaust Memorial offices. Our outdoor classroom space is available for eating before or after your visit.
The Visit
Each visit includes powerful firsthand testimony from a Holocaust survivor or descendant, a docent-led tour of the Holocaust Memorial, and a guided reflection activity. These immersive experiences help students connect personally with history and deepen their understanding of the Holocaust’s enduring lessons.
About 2 hours should be allotted for the entire field trip.
