The history of Miami Beach wouldn’t be the same without the contribution of the Holocaust survivors who came here after World War II to rebuild their lives. Their contribution to the landscape, culture and prosperity of Miami Beach cannot be underestimated, including the behind the scenes stories of the creation of the Holocaust Memorial.

Rabbi Schiff is the former chairman of the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach and a long term resident. This event is part of the Celebrating 100 Years, City of Miami Beach Centennial Celebration
